Welcome to Marrick Safari

As an exciting  new concept in our Safari hunting program in South Africa, we offer excellent plains and bushveld game hunting on more than 100 000 hectares of land in the Northern Cape near the diamond city of Kimberley, approximately 480 km (300 miles) south west of Johannesburg.  Marrick Game Ranch is our base camp, situated only 15 minutes from Kimberley airport and covers 3000 hectares populated by indigenous game. The entire hunting area is natural with a large open pan surrounded by savannah thornveld , bush and plains and is still the real Africa.

Accommodation, Tours / Riding / Fishing

Our clients stay at Marrick Safari camp which include full board accommodation in either twin / double or single rooms. Good quality meals are served. We also offer other activities such as day tours to “The World’s biggest hand excavated Diamond mine” - the  renowned BIG HOLE, Wildlife Nature Reserves, Game Drives, horse riding, mountain biking, fishing for yellow fish in the Vaal River (also other rivers), River rafting on the Orange River, etc. 

A recreation area situated next to the swimming pool offers activities like table-tennis, pool/snooker and some lawn games where refreshments may be enjoyed on hot summer days. In our cool winter months a fire and ‘’braai’’ (barbecue) under a clear African sky add that extra dimension to the experience.

Flights & Transport to South Africa / Kimberley

Flights are daily and can be combined with a connecting flight from Johannesburg to Kimberley (and visa versa), or Marrick offers a shuttle service from Johannesburg International airport where you can be met on arrival and transported directly to Marrick Safari. This must be arranged when planning your trip.
